    Dear support.
Everytime that a user logs in with discord a new message coming to him:
“Hi, Welcome, Your membership Core Team is starting from April 7th, 2024 at https://durmancapital.com/ the last date of your membership is Thanks, Kind Regards, Durman Capital”

That looks like the website/your plugin is loosing the connection with discord.
Maybe thats also the case why our users are loosing frequently their discord role and we have to manually give it back to them.

Is there any connection session or whatsoever

Please assist and dont leave me again without reply.

Hello, 2 weeks have passed. Any update?

    Regards,
    Panos

Hey @panostz Sorry for not replying earlier.

We had done tests, the auto-disconnect bug seems not to re-produce at our end, the theme looks fine no issue,

Could you please share full screenshot of Role-mappings tab?

    • It is possible “Allow non-member is set to no”, and for susbcription payments the PMPro plugin may removing memberships that could trigger disconnect,
      • Try keeping “Allow non-member to YES”

Also how many members you have discord server?

Hello, The structure of my website is mainly using the “connect to discord” in order to login to the website but also to signup to the website. Also due to issues of other ticket that i have to you, about users frequently losing their access to premium discord channels, your answer was to ask them to re-login with discord on the website so I could not do that.
Please find attached the discord roles screenshot bellow

hey @panostz plase set allow non members to “Yes” and then let wait for issue to happen again, I think recurring payment failure is removing members.

    @ravisoniets Hello,

This is not the the solution though and I cannot change the structure of the whole website and how my users working on it “just to check” if this is the issue or not.

I am a Architect software engineer and the solution is simple on your code. You just have to check if the user has active subscription or he is signed up and if so not send him this welcome message. Easy as that.

I am just replying for the rest of the people that have the same issue since there is no solution from the Team Support.

If you have the same problem, stop using the “Connect to Discord” button as a login/signup mechanism. This plugin ( in my opinion ) should be used only ONCE by the user ( I recommend on checkout ). If you use the “Connect to discord” button as SSO with discord, every time that a user is logging in the plugin, takes back the Discord Role, After minutes it gives it back ( it might never give it back )k, send a welcome message to the user. Since the team is not checking if the user is already registered with correct roles, they spam with API requests.

    I hope it helped someone.

Hey Thanks for sharing about specific steps like SSO for “Login with discord” being the casue of issue for your case,

Regarding the multiple calls of API’ we are aware of it, Since we stich the soolution with the parent plugin we are waiting for updates that help detecting multiple calls,

Thank you for the update, It seems to be working as expected.
One note that still has to get fixed: The welcome messages on new subscriptions is not coming anymore.

    Thank you for your update.

I wanted to let you know that I tested the welcome messages for new subscriptions, and they are being received as expected. Here’s what I did for the test:

    • Purchased a new recurring subscription for a user.
    • Clicked the “Connect Discord” button.
    • Received the welcome message successfully in Discord.

It seems everything is functioning correctly in this scenario. Please feel free to try again, and let me know if the issue persists on your end
