• Hi Dario,

I am using your plugin with the shortcode [yasr_visitor_votes] but I’ve noticed that a visitor (not logged in) is able to vote multiple times if s/he returns to the same page after few seconds.
    How can I avoid this?

I am using Autoptimize + WP Fastest Cache

    Thanks

    Hi, thanks for using Yasr.

This should not happens because a cookie is stored after the rating is saved.

Can you please try to disable autoptimize and or WP Fastest Cache ?

    Best,
    Dario

pro-tip; you can disable Autoptimize on a per-request basis by adding ?ao_noptimize=1 to the URL.

if the problem is not there at that point, some autoptimize (re-)configuration might be needed to fix this. there are troubleshooting tips and info on how to exclude in the AO FAQ.

    hope this helps debugging,

    Thank you both

Yes, with ?ao_noptimize=1 it works fine.
So, how can I fix it without having to exclude it from Autoptimize?

In that case you’re probably going to have to exclude yasr’s JS from being autoptimized @troglos

I’ve added yasr-front.js to the exclusion list but it still doesn’t work properly in the homepage.

@dario the only difference is that in the homepage I’ve added the shortcode [yasr_visitor_votes] in the (classic) texteditor, and in all the other pages is directly in the template files (and it works fine).

    Any suggestion?
