Zedity version 3.1.0 prevents posts and pages from being edited in WordPress 3.9. Earlier versions of Zedity (1.5.3 and 1.5.4) also act the same way.

The editor window for any pages or posts is blank and the editor cannot be toggled between Visual and Text mode.

Deactivating Zedity appears to solve the problem. This test was performed on site with other active plugins, so there may be other incompatibilities. Nevertheless, deactivating Zedity alone solves the problem for now.

    Hi flymutt,
It looks like WP 3.9 introduced changes that affect some plugins, including Zedity. We added a note in the description page.
We’re working already to add the support needed for WP 3.9.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.
    Regards

    Hi flymutt,
We released version 3.1.1 earlier today. Please make sure to update Zedity to the latest version, which includes the compatibility support for WP 3.9.
Please feel free to contact us for any issue about this.
Even though we tried to add the support for WP 3.9 as soon as possible, we apologize for any inconvenience related to that.
    Regards,
    The Zedity Team
