Multiple Venues

Hello,
I’m creating a site for a festival that has instances of the same event held at different venues (e.g. a touring theatre show)
Using the Advanced Custom Fields plugin, I can create a custom interface that will let me assign multiple categories to an event, but I can’t get this to work with the Venues taxonomy.
Could you give me some pointers as to where/how/if I can enable an event to hold multiple venues…?
