multiple times to show announcement

Hey there, got the latest version of wordpress and your addon.
I want to be able to control how many times the addon shows. Like I want it to show a few times, or maybe every 5th time the user accesses the homepage or something.
Is this level of control possible? I have no knowledge of php or css.
