I need to select multiple suppliers for each product (preferably with separate purchase cost for each supplier, but not essential). I have over 10 suppliers for all the products I sell. Almost each product I source from 2 or 3 different suppliers. I will purchase from one of these depending on my suppliers stock levels and price.
I can only assign one supplier per product.
I also can’t create a purchase order for products that aren’t assigned to that supplier.
This is causing a lot of issues with my use of the plugin and makes it difficult to organise inventory and POs.

    Hi jonathanemms,

Thank you very much for your post.

I am sorry you find ATUM limited.

Yes, your business model is lot more complex and ATUM free version is build for the majority of simple inventory management models.

The multi-supplier and multi-inventory Premium features will be released at the end of second or third quarter of 2018.

I know this does not help you, but I can only help with this information right now.

Once again, i apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Over all it’s a good plugin, I purchased the ad-on, mainly to help support the development as I don’t really need the most of the manufacturing central features. Hopefully the multi-supplier feature is released soon.

    Hi,
    Just had a thought.
What if I set the default/main supplier in the product? If I want to do a Purchase Order from a different supplier I manually change the supplier for the product, after I’ve finished the purchase order I can then change it back to the default afterwards. Will this break anything for previous purchase orders?

    Hi J,

The previous purchase orders should stay the same as there is not backward connection. Same for prices, when change something in the product it will not change automatically for already added products within a PO.

You can create a PO, add a supplier and search for products. After adding these products, you can choose another supplier and search for their products.

Remember to always update the PO after changing supplier.

    Hope this helps.

    Hello ,

I also look forward to multi-supplier feature.

Could we update stock status for each supplier with their provided excel inventory ?
is there any way to connect each supplier sku to our inventory sku , so we don’t need to change anything in their exported excel file ?

    Thanks & Regards,
    Mohammad

Hi Mohammad, make sure you’re running the latest version. There is a new “Multiple Suppliers” option in purchase orders which allows you to override the product supplier and add any product to a purchase order. However you can still only set one supplier in the product itself.

@stockmanagementlabs thanks for adding the feature request. I was wondering if in a future update you can allow adding multiple suppliers from within the product itself rather than the purchase orders. Maybe move the “Purchase price ($)” to inventory and have something like this:

    Supplier 1
    Supplier 1 SKU
    Supplier 1 Purchase price ($)

    [Add New Supplier Button]

By clicking on the add new supplier button it will add another supplier

    Supplier 1
    Supplier 1 SKU
    Supplier 1 Purchase price ($)

    Supplier 2
    Supplier 2 SKU
    Supplier 2 Purchase price ($)

    [Add New Supplier Button]

Anyway that was just a thought.

    Hi guys,

Thank you very much for your posts.

Jonathanemms thank you for replying, well appreciated.

I can simply reply to all the above. YES, it is all coming in form of Premium Add-ons.

However, we have had to re-work all of our development blueprints. To make sure all the features, premium and free work hand in hand and we can include free imports and add multi inventory and multi suppliers plus FIFO and LIFO the process had to be adjusted.

We are now working on the interface and features design for ATUM EXPORT PRO and upgrading our Product Levels.

As you know we just released another upgrade of ATUM where you can now easily move forward and backward within Stock Central and not lose any filters.

Also looking forward to this feature and would just like to add that for my business model, we have different suppliers who sell in different currencies so would helop us if each supplier could have a currency option.

Fantastic plugin, we’re trying to move all aspects of our inventory management and purchase orders to ATUM and look forward to seeing these! Good man Pavel!

    Hi d,

I am glad you like the project.

We are working on all aspects and will bring tons of new futures in the coming months and years.

ATUM is just the beginning of a massive project that will be announced next year.
