multiple sites same WP installation?

  • Hi –
    I have 2 php sites on the same linux server.
    can each site access the same installation of wordpress but format the content to look differently?
    please help!

  • No, WP uses a siteurl variable in the db, which can only be set to one value.
    Easier way of doing what you are trying to accomplish is just to use 1 install but use two seperate stylesheet options. You can do a lot with stylesheets.

    can WP use a relative site url variable for the db? so if i had the other site mask to the first site. it might work?
