• I have several sites on different domains with different content and different design/theme.

    Site 1: abc.com
    Site 2: xyz.com
    Site 3: qwe.com

Do I have to install multiple WPs to do this or just one WP installation is enough?
Can I install multiple WPs into one single MySQL database or do I need to have separate databases for each site?
Can I manage all of them with one single WP login?
If I change the theme for abc.com, will xyz.com and qwe.com be affected as well when I save it?

    How do I do this?

Appreciate all the help I can get. Tq.

Well, that would depend on what “this” is… :) You can install three separate copies of WordPress and have them work off three different databases, or you can deploy WordPress MU and have as many domains as you want with as many themes as you want with non-overlapping content, although it would be stored in a single centrally managed database (you would need some pretty permissive hosting arrangements for the latter though).

Thanks. WordPress MU was exactly what I needed but after attempting to install it, I found that it cannot work with Windows IIS even though I am able to run a regular WordPress (single blog) on the same server. Are there instructions for WPMU installation on IIS? Cos I can’t find it on WPMU forums/docs, they just dun encourage it. *sigh*

Am thinking I might need to do multiple installs of WP to a single database and only change the table prefix to site1_, site2_, and so on in wp-config.php. If I do this, does this mean I need to create separate folders for each site and upload all WP files or just wp-config.php?

I want a single admin login to manage all the sites. Is this going to happen? If it isn’t, how can I make this happen?

If there’re any easier alternatives, pls suggest. Tqvm.
