Multiple site names for one site – not subdomains

I’ve been playing with this for a bit – not getting what I want. I’ve enabled multisite and installed the plugin. However, the domain mapping area doesn’t seem to work – I enter values in the fields, click save – and nothing happens.

Did you enable it network wide and follow all the directions?

The Domain Mapping plugin is not your regular kind of plugin. You cannot install it through the normal Plugins->Add New menu. Well, actually, you can, it just won’t work.

Actually you CAN, but you have to do stuff PLUS the normal install and activate ??

If you are trying to set up different sites like example.com, example.net and example.org, you can do that with a patch you can find here… Check the comments…

I just set it up in multisite subdomains and then added the multi-network plugin. It was rather easy. We are running about 36 domain names plus four subdomain names with this.

Alan, Multiple domains and multiple domains with their own network are two related but different things. ??

He needs to get the multiple Domains up before the networks.
