Multiple shipping rates in checkout

Hi!
I’ve developed a plugin in order to get a single shipping rate according to products specs (it connects to an external API, also developed by me).
Now, I want to develop a plugin which gets multiple shipping rates and shows them to the customer, so he can choose the one he wants.
Is that possible? Or is there a restriction to a single shipping rate?

But anyway, it shows a single shipping rate to the customer, and I’d like to show several rates, as Shopify (with Shopify API), for choosing one.
