Multiple selection in dropdown menu only works with cmd+click

I’ve added a dropdown menu with multiple selection option to my form. However the multiple selection only works by clicking click+cmd, I believe most users don’t know the keys combination to select multiple options, is there a way to select more than one option in a different way?
