• I love this plugin and purchased the pro version. I would like set up a multiple select filter between subcategories, but not within each separate parent category. For example:

    (Parent): Location
    (Subcategories): Maryland / Virginia

    (Parent): Status
(Subcategories): Now Selling / Coming Soon

I do not want to be able to choose both “Maryland” & “Virginia” or both “Now Selling” & “Coming Soon”, but I do want to be able to choose Maryland & Now Selling. Hopefully this is clear. Thanks!

The easiest way to achieve this would be to create separate custom taxonomies for them. So a taxonomy “Location” and a “Status” one. Then you can just have 2 dropdown filters with multiselect disabled to achieve what you want.

Is that an option? You could use a plugin like Types to create these taxonomies.
