Multiple Select and other Desiderata

    Hello, friends!

    Any plans to include Multiple Select option along with the Text, Text Area, Select, Radio, etc.?

    Also which theme do you endorse as working best with ACADP? Tried about 80 different themes and most of them had problems with displaying the name of the categories on the category page, about 50% failed to open the drop-down filter on the display pages, and only one managed somehow to display the full breadcrumbs path to the listing in the form
    Home >> Listings >> Parent Category >> Category >> Subcategory >> Name of listing

    The same with the permalinks.

    What do you recommend to work best out of the plethora of Breadcrumb and Permalink plugins?

    Thanks for your suggestion to include the Multiple Select options along with the Text, Text Area, Select, and we will take note of this and look into this in the future.

    And “Advanced Classifieds & Directory Pro” developed using WordPress standards. So it should work on any WordPress theme that developed using WordPress standards.

    Thank you. Created one.

    As for the dropdown menu, I unchecked the “Include bootstrap javascript libraries” and left the CSS option checked in the plugin settings and the menus showed up.

    So, in order for Locations to work, I should create a superlocation which this plugin should use as base location, and all other locations should be created as child-locations to the parent superlocation – otherwise they will not show up.

    If my customers are from all over the world, I should create the base location World and make all continents child-locations to World and parent locations to the countries. Right?

    Hi,

    Probably a configuration issue. You must have set an invalid “Base location” under the plugin settings. Change it to the default selection (Select a Location) and this must solve your problem.

    Also, kindly check the explanation of “Base Location” option in https://pluginsware.com/documentation/general-settings/

    Thank you very much! All pressing issues solved – except for the breadcrumbs, which probably require a special plugin for custom permalinks and breadcrumbs.

    As for the Base location, I suggest you rename it to Locations Scope to make it more self-explaining and intuitive, because base location of the site/plugin, say, Toronto, may differ from and not fall in the desired locations scope, say, USA.
