    Hi,

I’m trying to place 5 seperate submit review forms on the one page under different products and then I’m trying to display them at the bottom of the page under separate headings. This seems to be breaking things. When I try to submit a review for any other product other than the first product, the star ratings system only selects the stars from the top product and it also seems that when I submit the rating, it just doesn’t submit properly and won’t display.

I’m also trying to use Visual Composer to do all of this. I don’t know whether that might be breaking things.

Nevermind about the part where I said it won’t submit properly, I had a spelling mistake in one part that was breaking it from submitting a review. Otherwise the star rating animation selection seems to be the only thing breaking now. It still submits an inputted rating with the form, it’s just animating the top product stars no matter which ones you select.

I’m going to have a go at re-building the page with Visual Composer as I think there may be some pieces of shortcode that might have gotten mixed up or deleted, causing the page to break.

Update I rebuilt the page with no luck, the reviews seem to be breaking in visual composer.

Ok so now I’m thinking this problem doesn’t have anything to do with VC because I’ve tried using multiple submit review forms in a plain page without any VC elements and it’s still breaking the star animations.

    Hi Sheree,

If you include only one review form on the page, does it work properly?

When looking at your page, I don’t even see stars, just boxes. Was it always like this? If you have just one review form, do the stars come back?

We use the built-in WordPress font icon library (Dashicons). Maybe there is something in your theme conflicting.

Now that you mention it, I started seeing yellow boxes instead of the stars at one point when I didn’t refresh the page for a while.

The review form “works” with multiple forms, it’s just the star icons that aren’t animating properly with more than 1 form. The first form at the top works fine.

I’m using the Storefront theme so I’m looking into whether the icons font they use might be conflicting.

I’ve just decided to use the dropdown selector instead of the stars. I can’t seem to fix this problem. I uninstalled fontawesome and still the stars aren’t working properly.

    Hi Sheree,

Thank you for the update. Do the multiple review forms work properly with the drop down instead of the stars? (This info could help in isolating a potential issue.)

    Thank you

Hey yes thank you for the suggestion, I decided to use dropdowns instead of the stars and the dropdowns seem to work.
