    I am having an issue with the review/rating count when several shortcodes are used on the same page. I have several different GMB locations and they are all showing the count as the first location on the page. In other words, I have a review count shortcode for one location that has 48 reviews and for every other shortcode I add with different place IDs it shows the same 48 number, not the actual number of that location. It may be that it was the first shortcode added to the page, not necessarily the shortcode closest to the top of the page. I saw the other support topic on cache and tried that without success. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    @bjemerson I understand what you’ve said in your post about the review count being incorrect for the non-default Place.

    If there’s a bug, I can resolve this issue in a subsequent update.

    Please can you share the URL?

    @bjemerson Thanks!

    I can see the problem here and I’ll use your Place IDs to replicate the issue and make a fix for the next version.

    @bjemerson I am having a problem replicating the same issue you’ve experienced – with both the overall rating and the review count showing the same values.

    I would like to ensure this issue is properly resolved in the next release of the plugin.

    Please can you drop me an email to wordpress dash plugins at designextreme dot com and I’ll continue the conversation with you there?

    In the email, please can you include a couple of the Shortcodes you’ve used so I can use this in my testing?

    @bjemerson After checking the data for the places, I’ve solved it.

    In order to populate the additional locations, you will need to add successive places by saving their Place ID in the plugin’s settings. Simply referring to each Place ID within the Shortcode will not work as the data has not been collected through the Places API.

    Once you’ve added each one, you will need to set one that will continue to receive updates. The other locations will remain static unless you manually switch across to this place in the Settings.

    Please give this a go and let me know if you have any issues.

    Thanks very much for your help. On the Setup tab, I was able to paste additional location IDs into the Google Place ID box. After clicking Save, the location name would appear in the box on the right. The review counts are now accurate for each location.

    Regarding dynamic updates, are you saying that only the location selected in the Google Place ID box will reflect new reviews when one is submitted? Any others will remain static?

    @bjemerson Thanks for the update. I am glad to hear it’s working for you now.

    You are correct: this plugin only one active location at a time. So, you can switch between them to perform updates to the other locations.

    As I have said elsewhere in the forum, I am developing a multiple location premium version of this plugin that will support a number of locations with on-going updates. I have your details and I’ll be in touch when this is available.
