  • One client ended up using the Product Bundles plugin: https://woocommerce.com/products/product-bundles/

They were selling vehicle paint and had a range of colours like Cardinal Red, Poppy Red etc that were essentially the same colour so needed to come from the same stock. Not ideal but it does work.

I’d have a look at some of the other bundle/composite product type plugins on here too – you just need to be able to hide the fact that the new product you’ve created is made up of an existing product!

@seank123 That’s a great suggestion I hadn’t thought of before. Thanks for sharing!

@f0cosupp0rt Just to confirm, there isn’t a way to do this in WooCommerce out of the box. But I do think the above suggestion is a great workaround – you could make it work with some customization.

Expanding upon that suggestion, you’d have to create multiple bundle products that are all made up of the same bundled simple product. This is what the product page would look like – as long as you are able to hide the section where the bundled product is listed, I believe it could work:

You should be able to hide that with some custom CSS.

    Howdy!

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to go ahead and mark this thread as resolved. If you have any other questions please start a new thread.

    Cheers!
