Multiple Posting Pages

    New to wordpress, so please bear with me. I want to have two sections to my blog, in essence two posting sections. One for one certain type of posting the other pretty much just for pictures. I don’t know if this is “pages” or “categories” but I’m unclear on how to do this. Can anyone help?
