I have released a few episodes of a podcast associated with my blog, but I want to create a second podcast. So I went to “all podcasts” and created a podcast, but there is only 1 there. I created a new podcast episode and associated it with the new podcast, but now I am not sure if it will be published as a complete new podcast, or as a new episode in the old one.

I’m confused since even though I added an image to the newly created podcast, when I went to the details page of that I saw an image from my first podcast.

Can someone tell me how I can be sure that I am posting to a new podcast and not the existing one I used (before I had anything in ‘all podcasts’)?

To clarify why I am confused, in my podcast’s page it has the proper podcast image, but on the same page it shows the cover image from the old one. And on the new feed it shows the cover image from the old feed. How do I make a new feed with a new image while leaving the old one alone?

    Hi @locksleyu,

    Thank you for your question.

Currently, any episodes that are not explicitly assigned to a specific podcast are categorized under the ‘default’ podcast. I understand that this can be confusing, and it’s worth noting that we are planning to encourage people to not use the ‘default’ podcast feature in the future.

As a suggestion, I recommend creating two podcasts in the Podcasting -> All Podcasts section and assigning episodes to them explicitly.
Please let me know if you have any other questions,

    Best regards,
    Serhiy.
