Multiple payment intents

  • My site is charging recurrent service payments by Stripe and from the last recurrent payments, WooCommerce generates a lot of payment intents and sends them to Stripe as pending.

    If the client doesn’t stop the process Stripe charges ALL the payments to the client, and this is a huge problem.

    I’ve talked with Stripe support and they have told me that the problem is generated by the Stripe plugin or WooCommerce, so, here I am.

    Please, help me, is a very important problem.

    Hi @fernandot,

    Do you have a subscriptions plugin installed that allows renewals? If so, which plugin are you using?

    Let’s see if there is an error on the WooCommerce Logs. Kindly provide us the following:

    • System Status: You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”. Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.
    • Fatal Error Log: Share a copy of any fatal error log found under WooCommerce > Status > Logs (if available).

    In this case, I would recommend reaching out to the YITH WooCommerce Subscription Premium plugin support and checking with their developers about what might be causing the plugin to generate multiple payment intents.

    Hi there,

    Let’s wait for feedback from the Yith support team. If they have access to the logs possibly we could find hints on what is causing this strange behavior. Please note that oftentimes issues like this are also caused by conflicts with other plugins or with the theme.

    Also, make sure that error messages are being logged (Debug Mode) so they will be saved to WooCommerce > Status > Logs.
