Multiple notification Messages

  • My Users get multiple notification emails of unread messages.
    Up to 3 mails, if they do not read it after a certain time.
    That is annoiyng and confusing. Is there a way to change that?
    One email-notification is enough.

    And I notices that they do not get a message for a new message
    Only the summary for unread messages.

    And i noticed that is not possbile to delete the threads.
    There is an X on the right of each thread.
    By clicking it you have to confirm it in the red banner.
    But it will not be deleted (?)
