  • The cPanel (or any other hosting control panel) is not a part of WordPress itself.

    You might ask your webhost, read the docs for cPanel, or else ask wherever cPanel’s support system is.

    It’s usually very easy with a DNS setting for the subdomain and making sure the control panel points the subdomain at the WordPress directory.

    @jnashhawkins maybe you don’t understand.

    I have 1 any only cPanel account on my VPS. I have setup a subdomain network whit the own domains on the subsites (example, maindomain.com and on the sub1.maindomain.com i use subsite1.com etc).

    But i face some conflicts with plugins so i have to setup a new clean subdomain network to make tests and demos to where is the problem safely whiteout make changes on the main network. The short solution is to pay for another one cpanel’s license account but i don’t want it that.

    I ask who to setup another one new network on this cpanel account using the main network domain or someone of my domains of sub sites of the network without create any problem on the public network

    My last line in my earlier reply is about all you need to know to do as you wish…

    As to assuring you, there won’t be a problem… I can’t do that as there can be problems but if it was me I’d try to do what I believe you want to do. I have done that with multisite (WordPress Network) and with multiple discrete WordPress installations.

    If you are worried about one site interfering with another the discrete site is the best way to go and I’ve built those on cPanel myself after reading the documentation for cPanel.

    Normally, your web host is the best source for asking for help with your control panel and for capacity questions… Of course, their business is to try to sell you something that might be a good fit for your plans anyway.

    If you have issues with one or more plugins you might want to ask the specific plugin author for help.

    If you have a specific question related to WordPress or some odd problem affecting your use of WordPress you might want to start a new topic for that problem here.
