Multiple menus on one page, each menu with same section name

  • Hi Deborah,

    Unfortunately, this is a limitation of the plugin (and WordPress’s taxonomy system). Two Menu Sections can not have the same name, whether or not they’re on the same page.

    I have some ideas to get around this in the future, but I can’t say I’ll be able to implement it soon.

    Thank you for the quick reply. Not sure there are others who have this use case, so wasn’t sure if it would be on your roadmap.

    It’s definitely a common need and one I’d like to get addressed. I just can’t make promises on a timeline at this point.

    Hi Nate,

    Good to know it’s on your mind. I can see it being a game changer for restaurants looking for an alternative to catering menu PDFs and flip books (who wants to deal with those on your smartphone?)

    I couldn’t find anything that fits that requirement. Could be a market for you to tap.
