Multiple menus in one theme location

    Hello,

    Is there a way for me to assign one theme location to multiple menus?

    Currently, in the Appearance > Menus > Manage Locations, the only option would be to select one menu for each Top Menu and Main Menu.

    Would it be possible to allow different menus in the Top Menu and another set of menus in Main Menu?

  • Hello !

    It’s possible to allow differents menus to the 2 places dedicated (top menu & main menu).

    You first need to create your menus. Yo go in “Menus”, “Create a new menu”.
    When it’s created, you select a menu and tick the emplacement you want for it.
    – Top menu
    – Main menu

    Hi,

    It doesn’t really do that. It overwrites what is currently set to Top Menu. ??

    If I set Menu A for Top Menu, I can’t set Menu B to be in Top Menu as well. If I set Menu B as Top Menu, it only shows Menu B on the Top Menu, Menu A will be lost..

    I want both Menu A and B to be side by side in the Top Menu along with other menus I’d want to create in the future.

    I’m sorry I didn’t understood that you wanted 2 differents menus in the same place !
    I’m afaid I can’t help ??

    But still, if you want two menus side by side, why don’t you just make one menu ? My question is probably a bit stupid

    i understand your requirement but still the question remains why would you want to do this.

    If you really want to add more than one menu into one location, why not create another menu with all the items in it and then assign it.

    Please let me know the intention/requirement behind trying to add multiple menus into one location
