Multiple membership with different terms

  • I’m selling different type of memberships through my website. All went good, but recently started facing an issue. Let me elaborate that first.

    Membership item 1: Access of custom capability item_1 with membership level 1 for 1 year
    ….
    Membership item 12: Access of custom capability item_12 with membership level 1 for 1 month
    ….

    When a buyer purchase item 12 who already have item 1 purchase is losing membership validity period. For item 12, his EOT is decreasing.

    I couldn’t figure out any way to solve this.

    I need your advice.

  • How are you selling the add-on? I suspect you are using a button or form for level 1 access. That will, indeed, cause the previous membership to be replaced instead of being added to.

    If you want to sell an add-on like this, you need to use a Capability (Buy Now) button or form.

    Also make sure that this button or form is accessible only to logged-in members.

    Doing things this way will just add the ccap to the current membership level, and the length of the membership will remain as before.
