    Hi

I can’t access anymore to the FAQ of the old website.
I remember I read some tips about creating a map in a post with several locations / markers, I think using custom fields.
I don’t want to have a trip on the map (line between several points), juste several points.
Does anyone can help me ?

By the way, the screenshot in this tweet is what I want :

    Thanks in advance.

    Welsh

    Hello @welshfg

the site you have posted shows geotagged posts. This means, all posts with a locatoin (geotag) of your site are shown automatically on this map. A post of your site can have max. one location (geotag).

If I got you right you want a map with some places marked with an icon, right? This can be done with KML file. We moved the site and this is not documented yet – if you contact me here:

I will support you and take this sample also for the website.

    Hi Mika

    You’re right with :

you want a map with some places marked with an icon, right? This can be done with KML file

I thought that a KML file was intended for routes and not isolated points.
I will try with a KML file.

If any problems I will contact you. But maybe it can be a next feature to have the ability to plot several (less than ten ?) points on a map through the plugin UI.

    Hello

It works with a KML file.
Don’t forget (for other users) to store your own icons on the same host as your WordPress installation.

    Thank you
