Multiple login attempts within short period of time

  • I have both your plugin and Sucuri Security installed. I’m trying to reconcile what I am seeing on the Sucuri dashboard for failed login attempts and the setting for your plugin. Based on what I think your setting are doing I should not have 20 failed attempt all within 1 or 2 minutes.

    Can you help me out to better understand this. No one got in illegally, but need for my knowledge. Maybe I have set your parameters wrong.

    Then your plugin settings

    Lockout 3 allowed retries
    30 minutes lockout
    2 lockouts increase lockout time to 24 hours
    12 hours until retries are reset
