• Hi I have a question regarding building a site with multiple locations. How would I go about building a site that has 5 different locations and when the certain location is clicked on there is a different page that you are taken too that has all new information and a new shop. For example, you open to generic homepage and then can click to the correct location for your area and are taken to that stores specific event info and shop which is different for each location. Meaning the the menu bar options would need to change for that specific location because every about, shop and event would be unique to the location. Would this need to be 5 different sites within the one site?

Thank you for the article, but this does not really answer my question about each location having different navigations menu and different stores. Would this be something I can do on your platform through a multisite network?

Hi @ericaholland16, I wrote the article linked above so I think I may be able to answer your questions as I did write it from a WordPress-centric view. There is no need to have a different menu or use a multisite network for a multi-location business.

The best way to do it is exactly as I laid out in the blog post, one site with one domain that has all the general information about your business (shared information between all locations) and then have a separate section that covers the unique details for each business location on separate pages within the overall website.

That means you might have a link in the top navigation that says “Locations” which then lists all your locations and depending on how many unique services area at each location you might actually have a page for each location.

    Does that help more?
