After using Rank Math SEO for a long time, I decided to try Yoast.
After successfully importing all the SEO data through the appropriate function of YOAST, I noticed that under “Focus keyphrase” it says: “Are you trying to use multiple keyphrases? You should add them separately below.”
This happens because Rank Math SEO separates the main keyword from the secondary ones automatically while on YOAST they are all grouped together in the box where only the main one should be.
So I ask, how should I behave since I have more than 40,000 pages and clearly I can’t change them manually?
Can you suggest me the best way to deal with this situation and not have repercussions on SEO?
    Thank you.

    Hello @akide

I’m sorry about your experience. With Yoast SEO Free, you can add only one focus keyphrase, but with Yoast SEO Premium, you can add four additional keyphrases. So, all your keyphrases from Rank Math SEO are imported into one field (the focus keyphrase field) in Yoast SEO because you only have that one field. You may consider upgrading to Yoast SEO Premium.

    Thanks for your response.

So you’re telling me that if I upgrade to the premium version the import will automatically separate the keyphrases putting the main one in focus keyphrase and the secondary ones in related keyphrase?

@maybellyne is this the right way to separate Keyphrases?

    Hi @akide

Upgrading to premium won’t automatically separate the multiple keyphrases from focus keyphrase field of Yoast SEO. However, you can use a separate?Add Related keyphrase?field for the additional keyphrases when you have premium.
