Multiple issues making scans futile

  • I am trying to run a scan on my website which is most certainly hacked and every time I start a scan it says “preparing…” then it get to about 1 minute elapsed and 0% completed, from there something turns red saying 404 read/write errors. From there the system just idles at 0% and 1 minute elapsed… And that is pretty much as far as I have made it.

    That is what it says it is currently “doing” I guess… Idk if that helps

    It sounds like it must be getting stuck on something when enumerating the directories that need to be scanned. If you are getting that many read/write errors then I would suspect that it is failing to enumerate most of those folders anyway. There are two places you can look that may help you determine the cause of these errors: First, you can check the error console in your browser (usually part of the browser’s Inspector); Second, you should look in the error_log files on your server.

    Let me know what you find in both of those places.
