Multiple instances of jquery.js loading problem?

    I just removed <script language="javascript" type="text/javascript" src="<?php bloginfo('template_url'); ?>/javascripts/jquery.js"></script> from my header.php and everything worked fine without adding enqueue script.will it cause any problem in future?
