I’m using Square as the system of record. Some of my items in Square have multiple images associated with them. Plus, I have some products with variations and those variations have an image selected for them. But when I sync all new products or update sync, only the primary image for the product is sync’d and no other additional images or variation images.

I’ve tried creating new products, I’ve tried removing the featured image of pre-sync’d products to ensure the images get sync’d again, but still only one image comes across. Is this a known lacking in the functionality and if so is the functionality in development? It’s a major issue for my variations that have different appearances.

    Hello @jboyjw,

Just to make sure I understand the problem correctly. When syncing the product from Square only the feature/main one is imported.

If so then this is not a bug, it’s just how the plugin work. ??

You can submit a feature request to change this in future releases: https://woocommerce.com/feature-requests/square/#

I will also recommend working with a WooExpert if you’re looking for a fast solution.

    Cheers!

Not sure why the plugin would only import the main image and not any others… especially for variations… But okay, I guess I’ll submit a feature request. Thanks.

    Hi @jboyjw

I’m glad we were able to help you somehow ?? and, submitting a feature request is one of the best solutions so far.

In addition to what Saif mentioned, for questions related to development and custom coding, your best bet is to ask on any of these channels for support. We’re lucky to have a great community of open-source developers for WooCommerce, and many of our developers hang out there, too.

I have the same issue. And by the way, I did a small research and saw that this has been an issue for many years now. I don’t know anything about coding but @jboyjw if you find any solution please add them here.
Having a variation with a picture and having Square sending it over Woocommerce (like all the data is fine, but the picture) it is frustrating. My products are hand made and they change continuously, I hope you have product that you can just change it manually once and be done with it. My pieces are always different one after the other and this is a bug (it is a bug!) and any update I do it is worthless since they are mainly only a change of the picture.
Please somebody help!!! (desperate face here) ??
    Thanks for reading me.
    G.
