• Hi

I currently see multiple Google Analytic codes in my source code.

I am using the Shareaholic for WordPress v7.6.1.2

And I see the following GA codes on my site:
    UA-12964573-5
    UA-48513475-1
    UA-12964573-14
    UA-12964573-15

How to get rid of these?
Would these be responsible for taking down the traffic by 95% suddenly?

    Regards
    Samkit

  • where are these? in header or footer?you can check header.php or footer.php file to check for these codes and remove them.

another way to add these is by using a plugin. check in your plugins if you cant locate them in header/footer page.

Would these be responsible for taking down the traffic by 95% suddenly?

    i dont think so

I just found out I have the same problem, and I don’t know why. I found it after installing Google’s “Tag Assistant” to analyze my Adwords campaign. I only have one GA code installed, and I have changed themes a couple of times, but not the GA code!

Where might this be coming from?

I’m wondering is there a plugin or even a way so 2 GA codes can be added to a wordpress site?

I have done something similar for html and php sites but I’m going to guess it is also ossible with wordpress sites.
