    Hello,

    Multiple orders are generated when I come back from payment service to check-out and am redirected to payment service again. This is only generated when I have multiple active plugins.

    These tests make little sense. I am also using default theme twenty-twenty.After that I have already written that these duplicate orders appear when all these plugins are active and when I use exactly this payment method that is also used on the video.All other tests are unfortunately a waste of time.

    I understand how annoying a conflict test can be, however, it’s the most effective way to pinpoint problems.

    That said, I believe what you’re experiencing has to do with the new checkout experience as mentioned here.

    Have you tried disabling the new checkout experience and paying using a Stripe Test card?



    If that’s not helpful, then I recommend performing the conflict test mentioned above for now.

    Unfortunately, when activating this new exprience, the behaviour is still present.

    When does this error occur, description:
    1) All plugins listed above must be active (deactivate one of them and the error is gone).
    2) Theme doesn’t matter, I used the theme twenty-twenty the last time you can see on video.
    3) How do you create these multiple orders:
    1) It must be iDeal or SOFORT (payment service) selected, because only if it goes to payment service and customers cancel it there (or it doesn’t work) customers end up back in Checkout (redirected from payment service) and then without any changes just click again, the same (BUY) and is redirected to payment service, at that moment I have 2 orders from the customer.

    From what I understand, there seems to be a conflict between the plugins you currently have active, since disabling either one of them resolves the issue.

    Please can you confirm if the issue is resolved regardless of which one of those 10 plugins you mentioned, is deactivated?

    If not, please clarify which specific plugin(s) from that list requires deactivation in order for the issue to be resolved?

    Also, does the issue resolve with WooCommerce core still active?

    I am asking, since this issue seems to be more related to a conflict with the plugins you have installed and active on your site, more than with WooCommerce core itself, as it appears the issue is resolved even with WooCommerce core active.

    If you can identify which exact plugin is causing the issue, we would be able to point you in the right direction for further help with this.

    I have already written to Wpml, plugin support, they say this is a problem of Stripe Plugin (their plugin), Germanized says they are not to blame either. Does anyone want to debug this? Or is it just a discussion?

    If any, please share these here so that we can take a closer look.

    To clarify, I use Stripe Plugin from (Payment Plugins for Stripe WooCommerce) there I have the error also had, the author has tested it and says, the Stripe Plugin from Woocommerce also reacts so (I have tested and actually it is so), therefore comes this manage my he from Woocommerce (he means that Woocommerce changes the order id but why he has no idea) so I landed with you now.

    This statement is only partially true. It occurs everywhere where there is a redirection to the payment service and then there is an abort and a redirection back to shop check-out, and then again there is an attempt to pay and at this point it doesn’t really matter what you pay with, a new ID is assigned for the order.

    This being said, please can you navigate to?WooCommerce?→?Status?→?Logs?and see if there are any fatal errors being displayed there, or any errors related to Stripe?

    Unfortunately there is no log (from the above I shared the log is from Stripe Plugin)

    I understand the frustration of trying to solve a problem where more than one plugin is involved.

    Checking the conversation, I can see you mentioned the issue disappears when one of the plugins is disabled which clearly indicates the issue is not from WooCommerce.


    I believe this somehow is related to Stripe creating a new payment intent when a customer lands on the checkout page as explained here, but that should create a whole new order.

    I recommend checking the forums of each of these plugins for similar cases. : )

    Alternatively, you can hire a WooExpert to help you debug the issue.

    This Problem ist resolved from WPML:

    There was a setting problem here, in relation to product file attachments, which I have now adjusted under WPML > Settings > Translate custom fields > Show system field.

    The affected fields were:

    _downloadable_files = copy
    _wp_attached_file = translate

    You can generally find detailed information about such problems under WooCommerce > WooCommerce Multilingual & Multi & Currency > Status.
