Multiple galleries in one Lightbox

  • Hello!

    I saw similar topic, but I want to achieve something 100% opposite. I want to have images from all galleries in a post/page displayed in one Lightbox. That is, when I have image, then text and then a gallery, I want to see all images in the same lightbox after clicking first image. I use wordpress JetPack galleries.

    I played a bit with options like Show lightbox for single image, lightbox for wordpress galleries, but none of combinations gives me desired effect.

    Hi Marcin,

    There is a way to do that. You would have to disable all the automatic features of RL and apply identical (important!) data-rel attribute to all the images you have on page.

    The best option would be to set it to data-rel=”lightbox” as this would automatically handle single images and “should” handle galleries too.

    Some custom coding is required to achieve this however – Jetpack gallery and post content via regex, maybe some theme adjustments too.

    Unfortunatelly, I don’t think we can provide a code to achieve that.
