Multiple Forms On One Page Not Submitting

I’m attempting to do a few somewhat complex things with the contact form 7 plugin but unfortunately something is going wrong on my second form. My first form opens in a modal and works close to how I want it and the second contact form is at the bottom of the page. When I hit submit on the bottom form the page reloads and nothing is sent / validation doesn’t fire off. Here is the page: [removed]

EDIT: figured it out. I had not wrapped my previous text field in a <form> tag and it was messing it up.
