    Hi,

every time I restore a backup, or even some other time with no apparent reason, I found many folders showing in my backups (screenshot https://snipboard.io/6IOMx3.jpg)

Why so? I set it to retain just 2 locked backups, but I have many many folders, and they show only on WP backend, because on Google Drive (which is the preset backup place) I just have 2.

    Thanks for claryfing.

    Alessandra

    Hi Alessandra,

Are you saving all the backups from other website on the same folder? If so, then you need to save each website backup in its own folder. You’ll have to use the premium version for this unfortunately.

    Thanks,
    Bryle

    hi Bryle

thanks for your reply. I used to save all the backups from all the websites in the same folder before. Now (since last month) I’m saving all the backups in the same folder BUT then moving each one in a subfolder (i created a subfolder for any different website). So that the root folder has only subfolders and no backups.

is that fine? I mean, is that going to solve the problem?

    thanks

That should be fine. Just remember that if you try and restore, move the folders back to UpdraftPlus folder so the plugin can find them
