Multiple Failure Messages

There was a new topic in a forum that was deleted. When a user would try and post to that topic via email, as expected, an email alert was sent back to the person attempting to post.

However, the problem is that the email is sending continuously and it keeps sending and I can’t figure out how to stop it!

People that have tried responding to that topic are starting to get a bit perturbed at the constant flow of repetitious emails. (over 15 up to this point, and it appears every 10 to 20 minutes or so.)

Help on this issue would be greatly appreciated.
