    I’m using this code: [table id=7 datatables_columnfilterwidgets=”true” datatables_buttons=”excel”/] and it doesn’t seem to show the ColumnFilterWidgets portion. FWIW, the styling on the buttons of the Buttons plugin doesn’t render either.

    Any clue on having these both show?

    Thank you for a great plug-in!

    Hi,

    thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.

    As both of these Extensions modify the same internal parameter of the DataTables configuration, a small extra step is necessary to use them together: Please add this to the “Custom Commands” textield on the “Edit” screen of your table:

    "dom":"BWlfrtip"

    That B and W basically indicate the loading position in reference to the other table elements.

    About that styling issue: Can you please post a link to the page with the table where this problem happens, so that I can take a direct look? Thanks!

    Regards,
    Tobias

    Thanks Tobias! This worked for me. It’s a private site so I can’t share but I’ll reach out if it becomes a bigger issue.
