Hey there Mac! Thanks for stopping by. WordCamp is not a single event, in fact, we already held more than 200 of them! The trick we use to manage multiple events is just WordPress Multisite. I bet you can configure that too for your own needs, like have a subdirectory install and host your ticketing pages on /event-one and /event-two, etc.

Let me know if that doesn’t work out for you and we’ll think of something together ??

    Hi Konstantin,
and thanks for quick reply ??
Now I know that CampTix is compatible with WPMS, I didn’t tried yet but good to know.

Anyway WPMS isn’t the scenario about what I tought asking for this feature.
What I would like to see is capability to manage multiple events between the same site, not each separate event and I explain one typical case: a school that organizes courses and for each course need to manage attendees, tickets and so on, all Camptix already does.

What need, in this case, it’s the ability to set multiple events in option page or, may be, ability to assign them to custom posts types like calendar ones.

Hope that it’s more clear now ??

Mac, would it be easier if you could specify the ticket types to show on a ticketing page? That way you could create separate tickets for your separate events, then have different pages/posts with the ticketing forms? You’ll be able to use things like Summarize, and revenue reports, and filter attendees by ticket types, etc.

    Thanks again for your input!

May be, but if you can simply multiply the events and assign an ID to each one (or assign to other custom posts type), to manage different events with shortcodes, will be easier and more modular ??
Thanks anyway for this good plugin

Hey Mac, I think that might make it slightly more confusing, but I’ll put “multiple events” on our roadmap and see where we can take it in the next few iterations. Thanks for your help!

I’d love to see multiple events added too. It wouldn’t add much clutter to this fantastically simple plugin. Great work!

    Thanks for the feedback Sam.

Any update on multiple events? Could be really useful! Thanks.

Nope, no updates ?? Hang in there!

I desperately need a multi event plugin that is EASY to use with a calendar. I have a craft studio that has several classes a week. I have tried Event Espresso, this doesn’t work with my theme. I have tried many different things that don’t work. I think your update for multiple events would be perfect.

I too am interested in multi event capabilities. Is this something you plan on implementing? How soon.

Multiple events is a feature we may implement in a future release, but it’s not on the roadmap for now, since it’s not something that we would be using on WordCamp.org, which is the main reason CampTix exists.

That said, there are almost 100 WordCamps held every year, and that sounds like “multiple” to me ?? We use multisite and each event has its own website. We can query against those websites on our central site to do things like digests, etc. That may or may not work for your case.
