• Hi everyone,

    I installed wordpress 3.3.2, under Apache/2.2.16 (Debian).
I have a problem with multiple endless fork caused by wordpress. Here is a screenshot from my server (using top) :

Each time I refresh the webpage, it forks another apache2 process, which is supposed to end… and it doesn’t ?? It uses also quite a lot of memory. It seems like an infinite loop is caused somewhere, with an override of the max_execution_time option of PHP.

    Thank you for the help.

  • That’s a server misconfiguration of either http.conf or php.ini. WordPress out of the box isn’t going to cause that. Ask your webhost or server admin and look at your errors logs.
