Multiple Email Notifications

  • I have this plugin installed on many site. I get multiple copies of the WordPress File Change Warning email notification when files are changed/added/modified. This morning on one site I received the same email 7 times. Why is the plugin generating so many copies of the same email? Is there a setting that can be changed to correct this soe I only get one copy. I have this issue on all of my installs but this morning was the first time I got 7 copies of the same email.

    Were the contents of the email exactly the same?

    Yes the content of the email messages are identical.

    I was reviewing the changed files log in BWPS admin log area and it is showing the multiple scans all time stamped the same so each must be generating a separate email Here are three recent log entries showing the duplicates. This would explain the multiple email but why is it doing multiple scans. Does this mean the Cron job that IDs these is running twice?

    Have to try to reinstall (remove and install again) the plugin?
