Multiple Downloads Using Same Download Code

    Hi misanthrop,

    Hope you’ve been well!
    The plugin has worked perfectly for us in the recent past. Now, we have a small challenge that we hope you will be able to help us with if you have a moment.
    We’ve uploaded a single sound file for which we have generated just one single download code that we would like to use multiple times to download the same file. Unfortunately, even though we have indicated that you can use the download code 5000 times to download the file, the system tells us that the maximum number of downloads has been reached after using the code just once. I’m not sure why this is the case. Maybe you can help?

    We are still using version 2.3.0 of the plugin and wonder if it were possible to keep using this version and solve the issue? We are a bit afraid that maybe our current download codes for our other files could get affected if we updated the plugin?

    I can’t find a hint in the code for version 2.3.0. Do you have someone on your end with some small programming skills to debug/look into this? Because I cannot really reproduce the issue.

    The plugin upgrade as such can be as risky as any other software update. You need to take a database upgrade of course and ideally have a test or integration environment where you can play through the whole process. But basically if you have the codes exported from your database, it shoud not be a problem to use this export to fix potential issues which could come after the upgrade.

    The last change to the database schema was even before version 2.3.0 by the way.
