I am looking to optimize the payments and fees for my brand and WooPayments seems like a good option.

However there is line of text that is stopping me from using it. Does someone know how to remove or adjust the text below the credit card fields, more specifically this text:

“By providing your card information, you allow to charge your card for future payments in accordance with their terms. By providing your card information, you allow *company name here* to charge your card for future payments in accordance with their terms.”

This will hurt the conversions because my company name does not match the brand name. And knowing my customers, they will think I will be able to charge them in the future even if the site does not offer subscription services.

Please note i am not a developer. I tried to hide the .TermsText class with css, but it only worked in inspecting mode in the browser, the actual code on the website did not affect the text. I tried it for hours…

Can someone help and fix this problem for me in understandable basic solution that I can follow and do on my own…?

Thank you to whoever puts their time into this!

    Hi @raivos,

Unfortunately, due to security and PCI compliance reasons, this text cannot be removed or adjusted as it informs customers about using their card information. However, I understand your concern about the mismatch between your company name and brand name, which may affect your conversions.

One possible workaround could be adding a note on your checkout page explaining the discrepancy between the brand and company names. This could help reassure your customers about the legitimacy of the transaction.

As you’ve mentioned that you’re not a developer, I’d recommend contacting a professional developer or a WooCommerce Expert to help you with this. They could guide you through the process and ensure that any changes made comply with payment regulations.

Thank you for understanding, and if you have any more questions, feel free to ask.

Okay so this “PCI compliance” thing is a WooPayments and Stripe partnership issue…? Shopify and other payment gateways don’t have this text, i don’t think PCI compliance forces anyone to have this exact text.

Seems like a poor design flaw and I guess i won’t use it then. I don’t see this on Apple, Samsung or any other major brand website checkouts.
