Multiple demo import layout

In next update the design will get a bit of polish, but it will still have the dropdown control.

Maybe in the next big version update we can use you idea…

A huge plus 1 for this. Please if possible guide how it could be done meanwhile you come out with an update including this design? I need to allow multiple layouts to import quickly and there will be different categories of layouts so a nice thumbnail layout plus may be multiple tabs or multiple menu pages would be great. Please advice.

Hi,

there is no quick solution, to just change the logic of how the demo import layout is created, so I can’t guide you on how you can do it…

In addition to what @nomans_beauty suggested, you would also like to create a category tab navigation , to filter your predefined imports? How many predefined demo imports are you offering your clients?

Alright so let’s say we can do the grid column layout for now, that’s fine. Could you guide me how could the Tabs section can be achieved?

Basically i am planning a plugin which will relay on your plugin to to put a solution so a Theme users to quickly find and import free layouts / templates. So there will be different categories to filter the templates like Multipurpose, Business, Creative, Landing Pages, etc…

So i am willing to either Put the Tabs section on the Import Demos page to quickly filter the desired category and on each tab we may have same Dropdown which is currently there which will only have the demos listed to that specific category.

Can this be achieved ?

Hi,

no, this can’t be achieved with our plugin right now…

The current design is still using the single dropdown for all predefined demo imports and it will stay that way for a while.

We still need to discuss this idea (multi-column layout) with the team… And we might implement it in the next big plugin update.

I can’t help you with this custom layout that you want to achieve right now, as the structure of the plugin does not allow to change the whole plugin page via filters or any other methods…
