• yes, if you want to screw up your business, take a try

This plugin IS ABSOLUTELY NOT the solution for a multilingual e-commerce site.

I can assure you that you will regret it, and if you’re not it’s maybe because you don’t know you’re already dead.

I’m sorry, but sometimes you have to face the truth, this system is highly unreliable, and you can put all the effort and your heart to try to fix it but it’s not possible.

This system (woocommerce + wpml + wcml) is released with really lethal sneaky bugs that produce inconsistency, bad behavior and want to kill you and your business.

Support is available (if you have paid) but bug fixes will come too late, you will have became a walking dead already.

  • dhjjyf45, thanks for your feedback. My name is Mihai and I’m the lead developer of WooCommerce Multilingual.

I’m sorry that your experience with our plugin was not positive. We are working hard on not just fixing bugs but also making it a really useful resource by adding new features that do make it a good solution for a multilingual e-commerce site.

At this point, we’re not aware of any critical bugs, so if there’s something that you reported somewhere and didn’t get to us for some reason. Maybe it was a problem in our support system.

If you’re interested, please send your query directly to me at [email protected] and we’ll try to address it as soon as possible.

    Cheers!

dhjjyf45 is totally right. I would recommend against it almost every time.

You can make it work, but only if you don’t have too many products in your store and a really fast optimized dedicated server and a lot of time to fix weird unexpected bugs.

@comheroes I can assure you that we have many clients with large sites that work in good circumstances.

Both WooCommerce Multilingual and WPML but also the other components involved (including WooCommerce have been undergoing performance optimizations) lately.

You may want to make sure that you’re using versions that are up to date if you’re still experiencing issues with older versions of any of the products involved.
