Multiple copies

    Hi

    I have just recreated a site for our village newsletter, that worked flawlessly 5 years ago. Everything is up-to-date and emails are being imported.

    However rather than importing 1 copy of each email as a draft post, I am getting 100s of copies imported. I’ve set Postie to import daily.

    There are 9451 posts sitting in my Post Bin after spending an hour deleting the dupes. It would be good to solve this!

    Are the emails the same couple over and over again or is it the whole history of your inbox?

    The whole history – set not to delete as the editor needs ready access separately. Too many copies to account for the daily fetch either.

    If you have Postie set not to delete it will import things over and over kind of by definition.
    If you need access to the emails, you probably should set up a forwarding rule to the Postie email account rather than trying to dual usage the same one
