    I found other posts of people having the same problem… ok, I had to find a different way to import files to the media library… Add From Server isn’t the right choice for that.
    Thanks anyway.

    Hi,
    I’m Riccardo from Italy, I’m working on a personal website about Sports Photography.
    I have a lot of photos to publish on this website and I thought it would perfect your plugin,
    but it doesn’t work unluckily.
    I copied more than 1.000 photos from my pc to the hosting server via FTP and then I tried to add these photos to the wordpress media library. I checked the “all” check button to check all the photos then I clicked the Import button on the bottom of the page, but nothing happened unluckily apart all the file have been unchecked, no messages, nothing…
    Any idea, pls?
    Thanks
    Riccardo

  • The multiple import worked for me only 2 times. In fact, the plugin seems to be locked.

    I read around that this plugin does not allow to pass a certain amount of multiple upload. For example multiple files max 999. This limit was imposed to prevent the time out of the server. Instead we should say to the author of the plugin to give us the ability to set up multiple limit.

    The problem was due to the limitation of php.ini in fact I changed the variable
    max_input_vars = 4000
    In addition to prevent the error “504 Gateway Timeout nginx”, you have to follow this guide.
    https://asdqwe.net/blog/solutions-504-gateway-timeout-nginx/

    Is done importing all the files, the only thing I noticed, is not shown the graphical display of the files that are imported to the server.
