multiple charges when using Link through the WooCommerce Stripe Gateway plugin

We recently activated Link in the payment methods options in the WooCommerce Stripe Gateway plugin. We had 3 customers the were charged multiple times for one subscription. The first one twice, the second one 5 times and the third one 7 times. Customers were promptly refunded by us but we are sucking up Stripe charges.
We had no issues of multiple charges in two years of activity, only in the last few days when we activated Link, as all 3 customers used it. We have now de-activated Link and are waiting for a reply from WooCommerce but in the meantime I gave it a one star review…
