Multiple category discount rule only works for subsequent products

Hi, I’ve added the Category discount plugin to my site, and have set up a rule with 10% discount for 2+ products across several categories. It works if you add more than 1 product in a single category, but not if you add 1 each in 2 different categories.
Is this possible to set up somehow?
