• Hey folks,

Question for you. Most of my events have multiple categories, like for example,

    Category: Card Games
    Subcategory: Magic: The Gathering

I only want to change the colour for certain categories to highlight them, and leave the rest default. However, what is the order of precedence in which category colours get applied?

For example, I might make Card Games #fff and Magic: The Gathering #000; which one will get applied when I call CATEGORY_COLOR, or in the Full Calendar which I am also using?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

at the moment category color works best on events with single category although it will also work on events with multiple categories but the color will come from one of the assign events categories.

Yes, I am aware that it would work better if I only had one category, but that’s not an option.

My question is, when there are two or more categories assigned, how does the plugin decide which color to assign? What’s the priority? Is it alphabetical? By category ID? The first box checked? If using SEO, the one assigned as the primary category? The one that’s a parent? The one that’s a child?

I also have this question. Is it possible to display the child category’s (more specific) color, rather than the parent’s category color? Thanks in advance, for suggestions.
